At least two dozen persons were arrested by government forces in two separate crackdowns in Baramulla town Friday. Police, army, and CRPF personnel jointly launched a crackdown in old town area of Baramulla which include Drangbal, Suhail colony and Fikerwani early morning and arrested nearly 6 persons allegedly involved in participating in protests. The crackdown concluded around 11:00 am. This was the second such crackdown by forces in old town.
